2009 Illini Summer Academies
What a great way to explore the University of Illinois Champaign/Urban! The 2009 academies is designed for youth to explore the University of Illinois campus, spend time investigating a potential career area, enhance your leadership skills, meet new people from across Illinois and have lots of fun.
Youth will have the opportunity to stay in college dorms, have an opportunity to interact with University Staff, Professors and Graduate Students while exploring a career opportunity.
This year's academies include: Aerospace Engineering Academy, Agricultural & Biochemical engineering Academy, Crop Science Academy, Food Science & Human Nutrition Academy, Veterinary Medicine Academy, Youth community Informatics Academy, and Leadership Academy.

Space is limited, so register early! Registration closes when an academy is full or May 26, whichever is first.
Youth Camp Shaw-waw-nas-see
Camp Shaw offers Day Camp, Youth Camp, Extreme Camp and Family Camp. Activities found at Camp Shaw include nature, horse riding/farm waterfront, crafts, adventure and recreation. Youth will run, play, laugh, make new friends, enjoy new things and most important have more Fun than ever.
They do offer early bird discounts. You may go on line for more details and registration forms at www.campshaw.org. McHenry County Extension will not be providing a bus for transportation.
