The Disappearing Earth tackles the priority one problem of soil erosion and weaves science into the storyline. By the end of this story, the reader will understand the soil erosion process and ways to control it.

Beneath the City of Ooze:In this second story, the worm's mission is to find out what is gunking up drinking water from wells and to stop it! By the end of this mission, the reader will understand storm water pollution and ways to control it.
