State Fair - Any 4-H'er, 10 years of age by September 1 of current 4-H year or over may enter.

GENERAL SHEEP RULES

1. Exhibitor is limited to two entries in each class.

2. Purebred lambs may be dropped after September 1 of previous year.

3. Lambs must be purebred and registered unless in Market or Grade Ewe Class. Registration papers must accompany sheep.

4. In market class, exhibitor may exhibit two entries per weight class. These animals cannot be exhibited in the breeding classes.

5. Entries in market class must be born after January 1, of current year.

6. Market Lamb Classes 272-274 will be weighed Tuesday, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Lightweight and Heavy Weight will be determined by Superintendents and committee members and posted prior to show.

7. Fleece will be judged on cleanliness - free from foreign material, uniform (A) grade - fiber diameter, luster, and tensile strength. Fleece must not be washed.

8. Fleece must be shown within year shorn, owned by the exhibitor, list dates of shearing (months of growth). Exhibit fleece tied in a bundle with paper twine.

9. Champion and Reserve Champion Ewe of each purebred breed will be chosen. Ribbon only. Grand Champion Ewe Over All Breeds will be chosen.

10. Grand Champion Ram, Grand Champion Market Lamb, Champion Pair of Market Lambs, Senior Showmanship, Junior Showmanship, and Champion Showmanship will also be chosen.

Age Classifications Dropped Between:

Sr. Ewe Lamb Sept. 1 - Dec. 31 of previous year.

Jr. Ewe. Lamb On or after Jan. 1, of current year.

Sr. Ram Lamb Sept. 1 - Dec. 31 of previous year.

Jr. Ram Lamb On or after Jan. 1, of current year.

Yearling Ewe Over one year but under two years of age.

Aged Ewe Over two years of age.

Non-premium classes

282 JR. Open to any exhibitor in the Sheep Department under 13 years of age,

except previous Junior Sheep Showmanship winners.

284 SR. Open to any exhibitor in the Sheep Department, 13 years of age or older

and previous Junior Showmanship winners.
