Appearance: People like to believe that they will be judged by their worth and not how they are dressed. But unfortunately, that is not how the real world works today. If you go into a prospective business establishment looking to be hired, you must show that you are exactly what they need. And that begins with a well groomed appearance. No matter what the job or position you are hiring for, you must respect the individuals in the position of hiring and show them that you will have the wherewithal to present well for their company and you can best do that with a good clean appearance, including being alcohol and drug free. When you look good and feel good, your actions are different and your outlook is better, and that is what you want to showcase to your prospective new boss...that you are THE one for the job.
If you look at life as a tent, do you know the importance of tent poles? When putting up the tent, the tent poles are hard to deal with, they are cumbersome and yet without them, there is no tent. The tent poles are there for support. They are the backbone of the tent. They are the foundation of the cover against the storm while camping. Tent poles are in your every day life as well. They are there propping you up when times are tough. Do you know who and what your tent poles are?
