The holidays are fast approaching and you are at an all time low on funds. What can you do? Gifts of food are truly wonderful things to receive. And they are easy to do and much cheaper to give. If you are on a tight budget this year, why not stop and think about things that you can prepare in larger quantities and box some of your work up and give away as presents. Baked goods, bags of homemade noodles, jars of applesauce or preserves are wonderful ways to think of someone else during the holidays and they are remembered long after the holiday has come and gone. Stop and think about what you prepare best and try to make that a gift for someone else this year. .

If you look at life as a tent, do you know the importance of tent poles? When putting up the tent, the tent poles are hard to deal with, they are cumbersome and yet without them, there is no tent. The tent poles are there for support. They are the backbone of the tent. They are the foundation of the cover against the storm while camping. Tent poles are in your every day life as well. They are there propping you up when times are tough. Do you know who and what your tent poles are?
