Summer is a time for fun and activities. However, what most folks forget is that it is also a great time to be thinking about getting ready for the holidays. I know you are thinking, 'WHAT???.' But it is true. If you were to MAKE your Xmas presents instead of buying them, this would be a great time to start. The weather outdoors is such that you could work on carpentry, perhaps painting or even canning. What great presents are those that are made by hand, took time and attention to make, and are given with love.
If you look at life as a tent, do you know the importance of tent poles? When putting up the tent, the tent poles are hard to deal with, they are cumbersome and yet without them, there is no tent. The tent poles are there for support. They are the backbone of the tent. They are the foundation of the cover against the storm while camping. Tent poles are in your every day life as well. They are there propping you up when times are tough. Do you know who and what your tent poles are?
