When you are ill, you tend to take out your bad feelings and attitude on those around you. And for the most part, they are very understanding due to the nature of that illness.
The same can be said when you are struggling with depression...whether from job loss or unemployment for long periods of time. But the same does not always hold true on the understanding side of things. After a period of time, those around you might seem less than understanding and even hostile that you are still pining away for a job that was lost.
Perhaps that depression has taken a turn that needs to be addressed. That means that you have slipped into a much deeper depression and that you might need additional help to come out of it. So please give us a call at the Extension's DWP for help or call your doctor or clergyman for assistance. Do not let it carry on longer than it should.
If you look at life as a tent, do you know the importance of tent poles? When putting up the tent, the tent poles are hard to deal with, they are cumbersome and yet without them, there is no tent. The tent poles are there for support. They are the backbone of the tent. They are the foundation of the cover against the storm while camping. Tent poles are in your every day life as well. They are there propping you up when times are tough. Do you know who and what your tent poles are?
