Especially when things are not going well…and for those who are unemployed and not seeing many options it can be most defeating… and at times aggravating… How to look defeat in the face is a time consuming albeit achievable feat… letting yourself acknowledge that you are ok with BEING disappointed as opposed to hiding from it…and sharing that disappointment with others will also help in achieving recovery from it… when you call upon family and friends to listen…the healing begins…just be sure that you are listening as well…. disappointment is a part of life… climbing up and over the difficult times is what we all are trying to do… share the load… and reach for the hand that is offered… and soon… you will find that you are the one offering that hand of support and not taking it….
If you look at life as a tent, do you know the importance of tent poles? When putting up the tent, the tent poles are hard to deal with, they are cumbersome and yet without them, there is no tent. The tent poles are there for support. They are the backbone of the tent. They are the foundation of the cover against the storm while camping. Tent poles are in your every day life as well. They are there propping you up when times are tough. Do you know who and what your tent poles are?
