Macon Extension - Mainstreet Bank Plot Day
August 23 is the big day for the Macon Extension – Mainstreet Bank Plot Day. The event This year's plot is at the Jim Snow farm just south of Elwin. The Snows have been sponsoring the plot for over twenty years. This year the plot day will be Tuesday, August 23th. The tour will start at 5:00 pm. The tour will be self-directed; the Seed Company Representatives will have displays at the hanger where dinner will be held. Serving will start at 6:00 pm. The Speakers will begin at 6:30 pm with door prizes to follow the speakers.
The speakers for this year event will be Dr. Darrell Good forecasting the market picture; Dennis Bowman, Crop Specialist, discussing the problems that during the year; and Jim Snow discussing specific conditions in the plot.
