If you have lost your employment in Macon County due to cut backs, plant closings or layoffs, you are eligible to receive assistance for education, retraining or counseling dealing with finances, depression or other family issues through the Displaced Worker Program.

Nutrition Education, EFNEP and FSNEP
The nutrition staff of the Macon County Unit offers many fine educational programs to help our clients develop healthy lifestyles. We are a part of the Federal nutrition programs called the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) and the Food Stamp Nutrition Education Program (FSNEP) which is known as the Family Nutrition Program (FNP) in Illinois.
