Garden Walk
Each year, Macon County Master Gardeners host their annual Garden Walk. This special day highlights various public and private gardens in Macon County. For 2009, the Garden Walk is on Sunday, June 14th and includes several private gardens, as well as the new tree identification walk in Fairview Park, a project coordinated by Macon County Master Gardeners. A ticket to the walk includes refreshments and the chance to win door prizes. Tickets are $8 in advance, or $10 on the day of the walk. Tickets can be purchased from Master Gardeners and at the following locations after May 1, 2009:
