Volunteer Master Food Preservers - Community volunteers spend 30 hours in training to become certified in food safety and food preservation methods (canning, freezing and drying). Certified volunteers return 60 hours of time answering consumers' food preservation questions; presenting programs to small community groups and testing pressure canner gauges.
