The program contains meeting plans for eight lessons focusing on the topic of character, the six pillars of character (trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship) as well as decision-making. The six pillars of character were identified by the Josephson Institute of Ethics, a non-partisan, non-sectarian group. Character development requires the combined efforts of parents, youth organizations, faith communities, schools and other segments of our society.
