2009 4-H Fair Schedule of Events
University of Illinois Master Gardeners will be at the Livingston County Extension Office to answer questions about gardening every Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 noon throughout the gardening season. People may call 842-1776 or stop by the Extension office at 1412 South Locust, Pontiac with horticulture questions. Master Gardeners are volunteers who have been trained by University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Staff. These individuals have completed 100 hours of class time, successfully completed testing and volunteered 30 hours of their time each year to the program. Master Gardeners are also required to have 10 hours of continuing education each year.
