U of I Extension Life Skills Evaluation System - Measuring growth in life skills for youth and family programs

  Why Evaluate?

STEP EIGHT

Some questions you might ask yourself and/or the planning committee:

  • Did our participants learn the life skills we hoped to teach?
  • Do we want to make changes in how we taught the life skills?
  • What changes, if any, would we make next time we offer the program?
  • What was successful and we want to keep the same?
  • Will different resources "inputs" be needed to offer the program again?
  • Will you expect different "outputs" next time based on the response to the program?
  • Will you expect different "outcomes" next time based on what you know about the program?

You've completed the steps for learning to use the system. You are now ready to "Enter Evaluation System," or return and review the eight steps.
