Sandy Stiles

Extension Unit Educator, Youth Development

Sandy Stiles is a Unit Educator in Youth Development for University of Illinois Extension in Lee County. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics Education and a Master of Education with emphasis in working with special populations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Sandy began responsibilities in Lee County in April 1999. She coordinates and develops programming targeted to Lee County's youth and families. The primary youth programs include 4-H and school enrichment.

Sandy's career experience includes serving as an educator with the University of Illinois Extension in northern Illinois for 19 years. She served as Extension Educator, Consumer and Family Economics from 1992 – 1997. She was responsible for developing and delivering Consumer and Family Economics program in the DeKalb cluster area encompassing DeKalb, Kane, Kendall and McHenry County Units. From 1985 – 1992, she served as Extension Adviser, Home Economics, programming for adult and youth audiences in DeKalb and Ogle Counties.
