Master Showmanship Contest
MASTER SHOWMANSHIP CONTEST, 6:30 p.m. Showbarn
Contest to take place in the Show Barn. Registration can be done on your fair entry form or contacting Linda by noon on July 23.

There will be two divisions to this contest - Jr. Division– 8 thru 13 year olds as of Sept. 1 of the current 4-H year & Sr. Division-14 thru 18 years olds as of Sept 1 of the current 4-H year.
Participants must be members of 4-H or FFA in Lee County and enrolled in livestock.
Participants must be showing livestock at the Lee County 4-H Fair and Jr. Show .
Participants must show a steer or heifer, a market or breeding lamb, and a market hog or breeding gilt.
Participants may own or borrow the above animals for use in this contest.
Contest will be judged on participants ability to show all species and their knowledge of the species.
Winners will receive prizes for participating.
The winner of the Sr. division will be able to advance to the Illinois Master Showmanship Contest to represent Lee County. If the winner is not planning to attend the state contest, Extension staff may choose an alternate to participate.
