L/CAEC Camp Cook
Clients at L/CAEC participated in a week long "Camp Cook" and learned about food and kitchen safety.

BGS Hand Washing Lesson
Fifth grade students in Mrs. Bayne's class learned about the importance of hand washing.

BGS Ice Cream in a Bag
Students at Bridgeport Grade School learned how to make ice cream without using refrigeration or an electric ice cream maker.

BGS Solar Oven Experiment
Students at Bridgeport Grade School learned about solar ovens. They made s'mores and recorded their observations.

BGS Egg Drop
Students at Bridgeport Grade School learned about the importance of food packaging. They designed a package for a raw egg using one piece of paper, five bendy straws, and 10 pieces of tape. The eggs were then dropped onto the concrete. One egg survived with only a crack. The rest were scrambled!

BGS 5th Grade Marketing Healthy Foods (FNP Program)
Mrs. Bayne's 5th grade classes at Bridgeport Grade School learned about how foods are marketed. They designed posters to market healthy choices.
