Recipe of the Month
Easy Turkey or Chicken Casserole (8 servings) Ingredients:
  • 2 cups cooked noodles
  • 2 Tablespoons melted margarine
  • 4 cups (1.5 pound) cooked turkey or chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, low sodium, cut into small pieces
  • 4 Tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup skim milk or broth
  • 1-1/2 cups crushed cornflakes

Instructions:

1. Place cooked noodles in bottom of 9 x 13 inch greased baking pan.

2. Spread cooked turkey or chicken on top of noodles.

3. Mix together soup, cheese, and flour.

4. Add broth or milk to soup mixture. Pour over turkey/chicken and noodles.

5. Melt margarine and stir in cornflakes. Sprinkle on casserole.

6. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until casserole starts to bubble.
