RULES

A. Read all General Rules for 4-H Show.

B. Classes to be assigned by Superintendent by both weight and breed. Must

have registration papers for purebred barrows.

C. Exhibitors are limited to a maximum of four barrows in any combination of

purebred and crossbred barrows.

D. Other regulations are same as Junior Fair except no entry fee is charged.

E. Barrows will be weighed starting at 1:00 p.m. and finished at 6:00 p.m. on

Thursday, July 9.

F. No clipping of hogs allowed.

C. Pigs may be grade, hybrid, or crossbred and will be judged as breeding animals for commercial production.

D. Exhibitors are limited to a maximum of four gilts in any combination of

purebred and crossbred gilts.

E. Superintendent will assign crossbred gilts to weight class.

F. Champions and Reserve will show for Grand Champion and Reserve Grand

Champion.

RULES

A. Read all Junior Fair General Eligibility Rules.

B. Entry fee: $2 per single entry. $3 per pair. Pen fee of $1.00 per pen.

C. Animals must have been owned and cared for by the exhibitor before May 1,

present year.

D. Check in and weigh in begins at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 9th.

E. Registration papers will be checked on Thursday, July 9. Ear notches of

pigs must correspond with those on the Breed Association papers. No fresh

notches will be accepted. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to be at his

pen during this procedure.

F. Exhibitors are limited to a maximum of four gilts in any combination of pure-

bred and crossbred gilts.

G. Age classifications:

January Gilt, Farrowed January 1 through January 31, present year.

February Gilt, Farrowed February 1 through February 28, present year.

March Gilt, Farrowed March 1 through March 31, present year.

Junior Pr. of Gilts-Farrowed February 15 and after, present year.

H. Mixed age Pair of Gilt classes must show in the older class.

I. Champions and Reserve will show for Grand Champion and Reserve Grand

Champion.
