4-H and Youth

4-H Clubs

A 4-H Community Club must have at least 5 members, ages 8-19, and one volunteer leader. The group must meet a minimum of 6 times during the year. The traditional 4-H Community Club offers its members leadership opportunities through roles as officers of the club.

All youth programs, including 4-H Community Clubs, works best when parents are involved. Parents are encouraged to actively support the efforts of the 4-H Club group by helping with special events, refreshments, transportation, or in other ways as needed.

** Cloverbuds must be at least 5 years old and not older than 7 on September 1st of the current 4-H year.

Minimum number of participants is 5 members per club.

Cloverbud Meetings consist of activities that allow for immediate positive feedback for the member in a non-competitive environment.
