Scholarships

Scholarships available that Knox County 4-H members may be eligible for.

• Carl Sandburg College Scholarships
  The Knox County Association for Home & Community Education Scholarship (aka. Homemakers Extension) is awarded to a KCAHCE member in good standing for three years, an immediate family member, child or grandchild of such a member, or a member of 4-H for five years.
  
  
• Don Teel Scholarship Application
  This application is due June 1 each year. $500 goes to a high school senior who was a member of Knox County 4-H.
  
  
• Excellence in Agriculture Scholarships
  Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for high school seniors who are pursuing careers in agriculture at two-year or four-year colleges. Winners are chosen by a committee based on a short essay question. Applications are due May 15. Click on Programs and then Scholarships.
  
  
• Illinois Electric Cooperative Memorial Scholarship Program
  A total of seven $1,250 scholarships will be awarded each year.
  
  
• Knox County Extension Education Foundation Scholarship
  Two $500 scholarships are awarded each year to Knox County 4-H members. These are due May 1.
