Knox County Youth Celebrate National 4-H Week
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 8, 2009
4-H youth from across the nation are celebrating
National 4-H Week October 4-10 with the theme of "Celebrate 4-H".
Throughout the
year, 4-H'ers solve problems in their communities, raise awareness about issues,
and make a difference for their futures in the spirit of 4-H's vision to create
a world in which youth and adults learn, grow, and work together as catalysts
for positive change. In Knox County, more than 370 4-H community club members in
19 community clubs and 3,000 4-H participants are actively involved in 4‑H.
