2009 Master Gardener Training
The 2009 training in Knox County is now complete. If you are interested in becoming a Master Gardener our next training will begin in January of 2011.
Knox County Master Gardener Training 2009
Knox County will be providing training beginning January 13th, 2009. Below is the training schedule. If you are interested in becoming a Master Gardener in Knox County and help others learn to grow, please contact Kari Houle at khoule@illinois.edu or 309-342-5108.

February 3rd, 2009 - Plant Pathology (Diseases) - Monica David
February 10th, 2009 - Woody Ornamentals - Kari Houle
February 17th, 2009 - Landscape Design and Ornamental Grasses - Martha Smith
February 24th, 2009 - Turfgrass - David Robson
March 3rd, 2009 - Entomology (Insects) - Peter Chege
March 10th, 2009 - Fruits and Vegetables - Loretta Ortiz-Ribbing
March 17th, 2009 - SNOW DAY (makeup day if needed)
March 24th, 2009 - Problem Solving, DDDI, Pesticide Safety, Graduation - Kari Houle and Martha Smith

*30 minutes for lunch - brown bag is encouraged. Refrigerator is available. There is a soda machine in the building.
