This researched-based program focuses on nutrition and physical activity. Curriculum introduces GO, SLOW, and WHOA foods and activities to gear children up for making gradual lifestyle changes and healthier choices. Take home activities planned for family involvement.
Students will:
- Learn healthy, less healthy, and least healthy foods
- Set eating goals
- Set physical activity goals
- Work with their families to make lifestyle changes
Instructional Materials Provided: Extension staff will provide handouts/materials, education, and support for five 45-minute sessions.
