Me and My Money

This game is designed to help students increase their understanding of five money concepts: earning, saving, spending, sharing and borrowing.

Students will:

  • Practice basic math skills
  • Learn to make decisions about money at their disposal
  • Set goals for spending and saving money

Four to six children can play the game at a time. Parents or teacher's aides may want to assist additional groups so that mroe children can be involved in a session. The game takes 45 minutes or more to play. It could be played multiple times/days.

Instructional Materials Provided: Teacher's/leader's guide, a lesson plan, a game board with all the cards, play money, game board markers, and dice needed to play the game, rules of the game, a letter to parents, and parent resources.
