Each year, Extension identifies issues and needs to help plan our educational programming. In past years, we have mailed surveys, held focus groups, and for many years asked our volunteers from across the county what issues they and their neighbors faced. This year, a statewide online survey has been developed. The survey is targeted to the public at large and is purposely organized around public issues – our traditional four core program areas. Each county has been charged with collecting a minimum of 100 responses representative of the demographics of the county. The more populated counties – the more responses to collect. The website will be available during March and early April. Paper copies of the survey are available at our office if you do not have access to the website. We need your help to make Kankakee County's needs be known.
