The 2004 Extension’s agritourism series “Finding Hidden Dollars on Your Farm” created the need for further development of a marketing and education group. Kankakee Area Agritourism Association (K3A3) was formed as a result.
Tele-institutes for County Officials were provided on relevant topics including “Legal Issues for Newly Elected Officials,” “The Well Organized Meeting,” “The Changing Face of Illinois,” and “Building an Entrepreneurial Environment.”
