Every 4-H'er whose animal for his/her project lives at another location must have this form on file at the Extension Office for the current 4-H year.

4-H Dog Show will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 – 10 a.m. – new time – same location.

The Kankakee County 4-H Livestock Auction Committee has been busy planning for the 2009 4-H Livestock Auction. It will be held on Saturday, August 1, at 1 p.m. Things 4-H'er planning to participate in the auction need to remember: (1) You must sign up to sell, and pay your fee immediately after your show. See the superintendent, or designated person, to sign up. (2) After the auction, the buyer must call the Extension Office and give permission to release the check to the 4-H'er. The 4-H'er should be aware of your buyer's intention before you leave the auction. More details are available on pages 11 & 12 of the 4-H Fair Book.

To be eligible for 4-H Beef Awards and Scholarships, participants must submit the typed essay by Sunday, August 2 at the conclusion of the pizza party. A complete set of 4-H records is also required and due in the Extension office by September 4. Contact members of the 4-H Beef Department Committee if you have questions, or need more information.

The ISU Regional Livestock Judging Contest is June 12 and State Livestock Judging Contest is June 16.
