Extension can do programming for your group of 15 or more members on any following topices:

  • Team Work: How Does It Happen?

In today's world, many situations require teamwork. Teams are a part of everyone's life. You may be a member of a family team, a staff or work team, a school team, or a community team. Often we are confronted with increasingly complex and multidimensional problems that require a team approach. Team Work: How Does It Happen? examines the stages of team development, the attributes of ideal teamwork relationships and factors that promote and hinder working relationships. This program encourages people with complementary skills and competencies to coordinate their efforts.

Time: Two hours

Audience: Members and staff of agencies, non-profits and community groups

  • What's Your Type?

Many of us have been asked this question, and depending on the situation either chose not to respond or engaged in additional conversation. This is a program based on the theory of psychological types described by C.G. Jung, ideas about percetption and judgement, and the attitudes in which these are used by different types of people. Utilizing the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator, participants will self-identify their personality types based on Jung's theory. The aim is to identify easily recognized reactions, the basic preferences of people in regard to perception a nd judgment, so that the effects of each preference, singly and in combination, can be put into practical application in everyday life.

Time: Three hours

Audience: Members and staff of agencies, community groups, and non-profit organizations
