What is 4-H Federation?
4-H'ers get involved in the planning and leadership of county 4-H activities as participants in Federation. Federation members are responsible for carrying out parts of the 4-H Fair and educational & recreational programs that are conducted throughout the year. Also, they get to plan fun activities of interest to them.
Everyone is invited to attend. This way, all of the clubs have a voice when it comes to decision-making about county activities.
Money raised by the Federation is used for county programs, Volunteer Recognition, an annual donation to the Extension Office, supplies for the ice cream stand, scholarships for conferences and trips, Ambassador activities and much more. 4-H'ers who get involved in Federation enjoy the benefits of meeting and working with youth from throughout the county, besides developing leadership and communication skills. Get involved!
