4-H Records & Awards
Before the chaos of summer hits, update those 4-H records and activity sheets. It will make August go much smoother. All county award applications and project records will be due to your leaders the last part of August.
Livestock Judging Clinic
August 4, 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Knox County Fairgrounds. Will be held during the Knox Co. Fair. Dan Shike & Bruce Engnell, both coaches of Collegiate Livestock Judging Teams, will be discussing fundamentals of judging, note taking and what to look for. There will be a class of each species available to practice the skills learned. Registration is due by August 1, to the Knox Co. Extension Office, 309-342-5108.
State 4-H Tractor Driving Contest
will be held Saturday, August 6, at the McLean Co. 4-H Fair near Bloomington. Participants must be 14 years of age as of January 1, 2006. For more information and to register contact the Extension Office.
