4-H is a voluntary, informal education program for boys and girls who are ages 8-18 or in the third gradeby September 1 of the current year. 4-H Cloverbuds is a program for youth ages 5-7 by September 1 of the current year.
More than 250 Jo Daviess County Youth are members of traditional 4-H clubs where they are developing life skills in leadership, citizenship, public speaking and project work. But that's not all there is to 4-H. 4-H is at your school. 4-H is involved in your community. The goal of 4-H is the development of youth as individuals and as responsible and productive citizens.
