Wonderwise Science

Imagine your students learning science from what scientists actually do. That's what Wonderwise is all about. This series features women scientists actively engaged in their work. Students can see scientists as people who are curious about the wonders of the world . . . just like kids.

Wonderwise supports inquiry-based learning. Students are stretched to think and explore. Each unit includes learning outcomes, a video introduction of the featured scientist, hands-on activities, and assessment questions to further investigation and discovery. Available units:

  • African Plant Explorer
  • Parasite Sleuth
  • Rain Forest Ecologist
  • Sea Otter Biologist
  • Pollen Detective
