Fall is always agood time to reflect on all of our activities this past summer. Fall also reminds us how fast time flies! All of our past activities are fresh in our minds, especially the Fall Bash. We played games and ate good food together. I cannot forget when the kids watched me fall overa big tree as I was trying to stay away from the eggs that were coming towards me. I also spent some time on the road this past month. I took a little 8 hour trip to Rochester, MN to the North Central Regional Forum. This is where I met many new friends who are involved in 4-H. I was also able to go to workshops that give me a lot of ideas you will hear about in the next coming months. Then it was back to real world and we had to get ready for the achievement night. We had an exciting night of honoring the past members of 4-H and many supporters of 4-H.
There are many activates yet to come this year so please read this Newsletter carefully. We are going to do military boxes and the Food Pantry again so get to collecting this for this. We are also going to do Nursing Home doors and Christmas trees for the libraries, so get your creative minds flowing!!
I also wanted to share with all ofYOU - I have a great first year at Cumberland County! I have learned a lot and I have meet A BUNCH of great people. I look forward to what is to come. If there is something that you think that would help out the 4-H please let me know. I am always up for new things.
Have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving.
