The October Federation Meeting was held on Thursday, October 19th at the Christian Church in Toledo. The meeting was called to order with Melissa Koester leading the American Pledge, and Amy Zumbahlen leading the 4-H pledge. Roll call was taken, and the Secretary and Treasurer's reports were given.
Discussion of the Fall Bash was the only item of the Old Business. Kara Swingler made a motion to close Old Business, and Rosa Swingler seconded it.
New Business included appointing Rosa Swingler and Kristin Moses to the E & R committee and appointing Kristin Moses, Lance Moses, and Michelle Niebrugge as check signers. Other items discussed included military packages, decorating nursing home doors for Christmas, the candy workshop, and culture night. Rosa Swingler and Cherode Sowers tabled the cell phone drive. A motion was made by Kristin Moses and seconded by Kara Swingler to have a Project Linus workshop. Each Federation Officer should prepare a short summary about themselves for the December newsletter. The Achievement Night followed the meeting. The next Federation meeting will be on Thursday, November 9th at the Village Hall in Toledo.
