There are many resolutions made every year. Many of these are made by people with great intentions. The problem is, most never take them serious and maybe that is a good thing. Maybe this year we can say we really don't intend to change much except enjoy each day. So with that thought, I hope to make you smile with my following top 10 list of resolutions for gardeners.
I resolve to deliver my zucchini to the garden club so they will remember me.
I resolve to purchase a great smelling soap so I can smell better after I work in the garden. My friends will thank me.
I resolve not to complain to my significant other about my pains after I work in the garden – but, I will moan.
I resolve to share gardening advice without using the words, "I told you so," but I may still think it.
I resolve to thank my neighbor for planting those weeds which appear in my garden while I walk my dog on his lawn.
I resolve to give the time I sit in my underwear in front of my computer to putting on my clothes and caring for my plants – sometimes.
I resolve to share flowers with my enemy. The dead ones.
I resolve to act interested in garden advice from my fellow gardeners while reminding myself I know how to do it better.
I resolve not to sharpen my hoe since I won't use it anyway knowing weeds are natural flowers.
Finally, I resolve I will tell Ed Billingsley what topics I have interest in and read his column. This is the one resolution I will keep.
