Created in 1964, the Illinois Water Resources Center (IWRC) receives annual funding from the U.S. Geological Survey and the State of Illinois, as part of a nationwide network of university-based water centers. IWRC is dedicated to research and outreach programs on water resources issues critical to Illinois and the Midwest.

Illinois Water Conference 2008

Annually, IWRC brings together government employees, educators, corporate representatives, citizens groups and NGO members, and scientists to learn about the latest issues affecting Illinois' waters.
