The Illinois Steward Advertising Policy

The Illinois Steward magazine accepts paid advertising from organizations with a mission consistent to that of The Illinois Steward, which is to increase awareness and respect for the natural world and to foster the responsible use and preservation of the natural resources that sustain our physical and emotional well-being.

Ad Sizes and Advertising Rates

All advertisements will be tastefully presented on one tear-out page for easy reader reference.

• All ads are 2 1/8" x 2 1/8"
• $300 printed once
• $250 printed twice
• $200 printed more than twice in a consecutive 12 month period
  

Production Schedule

The Illinois Steward is published four times a year in January, April, July, and October. For inclusion in the next scheduled issue, please contact us, (217-244-2851) for a submission deadline and to arrange payment.

Payment

All ads must be paid for in advance of publication. Checks should be made payable to University of Illinois. Credit card payments are also accepted.

Ad Specifications

• Send an electronic copy of ad to ilsteward@uiuc.edu
• Submit ad in black and white format
• Submit ad sized 2 1/8" x 2 1/8"
• Submit ad with an extension of: pdf, tif, indd, or eps
• Resolution: 300 dpi (dots per inch).
• Also mail ad copy for digital accuracy test.
  

The Illinois Steward can provide ad design at a cost of $60.

Copy Acceptance

1. The Illinois Steward reserves the right to accept or reject any ad. Advertising clients assume liability for all contents of ads printed and the responsibility of any and all claims.
2. Frequency will be defined as ads placed in a 12 month period from first insertion. Multiple ads in a single issue count towards frequency discount. Should frequency of advertising be increased during the contract period, advertiser will be billed the lowest earned rate.
