The Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs is designed

Helps rural residents form new cooperative businesses and improve the
operations of existing cooperatives. Provides technical assistance to

National
Council of Farmer Cooperatives
A
national member association, NCFC's website provides information, news,
and events relating to farmer-owned cooperatives. Includes an explanation
of what a cooperative is, how co-ops work, and "How to Start a Cooperative".
OSDBU
USDA's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization
provides maximum opportunity for small, small disadvantaged and small
women-owned businesses to participate in USDA's contracting process. The
OSDBU serves as USDA's central point of contact for general inquiries
from industry, the Small Business Administration (SBA).
