Twenty-three area youth were trained about methamphetamine on March 10 and 11. The Illinois Attorney General?s Office awarded money to the Illinois 4-H program to combat the meth problem. In the southern region, an overnight conference was held in which Extension staff trained the youth. The youth will now work with communities to get information out on the dangers of the drug.
