4-H Captures Best of Show The 4-H Clubs of Hamilton County captured Best of Show at the Fall Festival Parade held on Saturday, September 15 in McLeansboro. The float illustrated the theme %u21CCelebrating Rural Heritage%u21D by displaying projects from when 4-H first began with corn, cooking, canning, sewing and animal projects. Youth enjoyed the ride dressed up as cows, pigs, dogs and even a duck. Participants also walked the parade route passing out bookmarks and beads to get kids excited about 4-H SET National 4-H week which will be held October 7-13.
