University of Illinois Extension is about learning. We provide educational programs and research-based information enabling local citizens to make practical decisions that improve the quality of their lives.
The nationwide network of Extension programs began in 1914 as a means of presenting land-grant university research in understandable and useful ways to farmers and rural families. Today, Extension serves both urban and rural areas by offering programs in four broad areas: 4-H Youth Development, Agriculture & Natural Resources, Community & Economic Development and Nutrition, Family & Consumer Sciences. Local citizens on an advisory council provide direction for our programming within these four areas.
In this report you will find a review of our programming during the past year as well as a financial report. For additional information on any of the mentioned activities, please contact us. We appreciate your continued support of our educational programming.
