Nutrition & Health
Ms Joy is successful in getting the message of MyPyramid and healthy lifestyles out to the citizens of our four county area.

There is still interest and excitement in the classes Ms. Joy reaches and people are quick to comment on something they learned from a WSIL-TV 3 segment or from the radio's "Healthy Family Tip of the Day." People want to live healthy, happy lives and are making choices daily to ensure they have the best chance to live the lives they desire.

From the Kindergarten student who faithfully washes her hands, to the picky teenager who is trying new vegetables, to the parent who is including more whole grains in the family meals, to the senior citizens who is adopting a new food safety rule in cooking, we are making healthier choices in Southeastern Illinois!!
