• 4-H Camp
  The 2009 4-H Youth Camp runs June 7 - 10. All Southern Illinois kids ages 8 to 12, or in grades 3 through 6, can attend. You don't have to be a 4-H member to come to camp. Space is limited, so register early! This camp is held at Woodmen of the World Little Egypt Camp near West Frankfort.

• Quality Assurance & Ethics
  QAEC is required to exhibit animals at the 2009 Illinois State Fair. Certification only has to be completed once, but members must complete all modules and select a species. State Fair Horse exhibitors must complete the training by June 9. Beef, Dairy, Goat, Poultry, Sheep, and Swine exhibitors must complete certification by July 1.

• WSIL TV 3 - News 3 This Morning
  Since March 2005, Joy Suits, FNP Coordinator has worked with WSIL-TV. Once a month, she joins Kevin Hunsperger on News 3 This Morning for Healthy Cooking with Joy – a segment demonstrating family friendly, recipes. In other segments Joy shares tips on Health & Nutrition related subjects. Recipes demonstrated on the program, as well as future appearance dates can be obtained through WSIL-TV or from Joy at joysuits@illinois.edu.
