The 2007 program year for Fulton County Extension brought several staffing changes to the office. Rhonda Ferree resigned from the county director position to accept an administrative role in the West Central Regional office in Springfield. She was replaced by Earl Allen, who began serving in June bringing a strong agricultural and natural resources background to the county. Angie Sanders completed her one year Peace Corp community development internship in July, and accepted a community and economic development position in Iowa. Program coordinator Julia Pryor was shifted from her emphasis on agriculture and natural resources into the family life and consumer sciences area alongside her work in horticulture. In addition, our facilities were greatly improved in 2007 by Fulton County Farm Bureau through the construction of a storage building to be shared between UI Extension and Farm Bureau, plus improvements to the parking lot and driveway areas. The extension office also acquired two new computers furnished by University of Illinois. Annual contact data and program descriptions follow for each program area.
