Discovered Practical and Timely Solutions

  • Gardening for youth was conducted for school groups, reaching over 350 youth.
  • 81 landowners became more informed of fencing laws, land leasing, and farm management.
  • 40 growers attended the 2006 Crop Focus Day to learn about variant western corn rootworm, precision agriculture, Brazilian agriculture, and tips to save production dollars.
  • 89 beef producers, horse owners, and alfalfa growers attended educational programs to learn how to raise healthier animals and crops.
  • 25 people learned about GPS and geocaching at a Geocaching Festival.
