Going Solo

Through a variety of interactive learning experiences, your students will find out what it takes to own and run a business in the 21st century. This experiential curriculum takes future entrepreneurs from the creation of their own business plans through personal development of communication and critical thinking skills to the implementation and evaluation of a model business. Students will discover, investigate and evaluate business opportunities. They'll learn to plan for success. A strong emphasis is placed on the connections between production, finance and marketing in determining the impacts of business risks. An interactive computer simulation game makes learning real and fun in the "virtual market place!"

Utilizes important concepts and skills that help your students meet learning standards: math, language arts, problem solving, communication, using technology, working in teams and making academic connections.

Instructional Materials:

Features a flexible format–loose-leaf organization allows you to design your own lesson plans. Sixteen individual modules can be used alone or can build upon each other. Includes a generous supply of templates and masters for instruction. Curriculum is $250.00.
