Financial Champions is a two-level curriculum designed to help youth master the basics of managing personal finances. The activities in Money FUNdamentals (grades 7-9) include developing a money personality profile, discovering the difference between needs and wants, making money decisions, setting financial goals and developing a money plan. In Money Moves (grades 9-12), youth will learn to predict and analyze their finances by calculating interest, determining the cost of credit, managing a checking account, selecting financial services, and other activities.
Instructional Materials:
A helper's guide contains fully developed group activities. One group activity guide and two youth activity guides for grades 7-12 are available. The guides are available ON A LOAN BASIS or can be ordered for $3.00 each. Fill out the educational program request form to reserve or order materials.
