Is on-line banking safe? How can you protect your privacy and still use the internet? What about "My Space?" How do I keep my computer from getting a virus?
The answers to these and other questions on internet security will be answered at a computer workshop on February 21st. It is from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Extension Building in Benton. Richard Fitts, computer expert from Razor Consulting, will be the instructor.
The first two hours of the program will provide information that will help answer all the questions mentioned above and more. For the last hour, laptop computers with Internet access will be available. Participants will be able to get individual help with problems or questions they may have. The cost is $10, and pre-registration is needed by February 15th at the Extension office–618-439-3178. Also, please indicate when registering if you need a reasonable accommodation to attend.
